Richard Harmon is best known for his portrayal of John Murphy in the CW TV series 100. While the series added to the young actor's already growing fanbase, it also introduced quite the confusion to the same. 

In the post-apocalyptic drama, Harmon's character Murphy is pansexual, leading many to the question: Is Richard Harmon gay?

Furthermore, Harmon acting all flamboyant during the press tour for the show didn't aid with the fans' confusion either. In some legs of the tour, Harmon and his co-star Bob Morley, who plays Bellamy Blake in the show, could even pass off for a doting couple. 

But in the grand scheme of things, this confusion is actually an ode to Harmon's acting prowess because, beyond his reel-life, Harmon has been in a committed relationship for well over two years now. 

Richard Harmon Has a Girlfriend

With the sincerest apologies to the guys eyeing this talented actor, evidence on Instagram suggests that he has been with his girlfriend, Rhiannon Fish, since 2019. 

The first time that Harmon and his girlfriend made an appearance on social media was on February 24, 2019. The post featured Harmon somewhat awkwardly sipping on his drink while his 100 co-star Luisa d'Oliveira was merrily chatting with Fish. 

In the caption, Harmon dubbed the moment "a fictional boyfriend's worst nightmare." His on-screen love interest was apparently comparing notes with his off-screen one. So, the comment seemed apt.

The first time that Harmon made an appearance on his girlfriend's Instagram was on April 22, 2019, when Fish uploaded a picture of the two with the caption, "Cute."

The monochrome snap framed a hard-copy picture of Harmon resting his head on his girlfriend's shoulders as the two seemed to be lost in their own world.

The candid snap was placed against a grainy leather-like surface and agreed with Fish's caption to the fullest.

Richard Harmon Celebrated One Year of Being in Love

However, upon making an educated guess, it seems plausible that the couple wasn't dating when Harmon spoke of his fictional boyfriend dilemma.

On March 30, 2020, Harmon put forth a memorable update on his Instagram. The frame he posted saw him sharing a kiss with his girlfriend. The couple was seated in what appeared to be an outdoor eatery with the actor holding on to his pint of beer. 

However, for the snap, he put the beer aside and leaned into his lady love. The caption was short, yes. Still, it managed to speak volumes. The caption went, the numeric one, a clock emoji, and a heart emoji. 

We took the liberty of translating emoji to English, which amounted to the couple celebrating one year of being in love, which does agree with the rest of the breadcrumb trail that the couple had left for the fans to decipher. While we don't know if the two will take it a step forward and upgrade their status to man and wife, we do know that, right now, they seem to be having the time of their lives with being together.
