Mark Consuelos and his wife Kelly Ripa's marriage is nothing short of perfect, to the onlookers at least. They have been married for over two decades and have three children from their happy relationship.

The couple is incredibly good-looking. So, it is barely a surprise to say they have passed on their good genes to their kids, who, too, are extraordinarily photogenic.

And among them, his eldest son, Michael Joseph Consuelos, seems to have gotten the most of his dad's genes. The two look alike so much that people even mistake them for being twins at times. Nobody can blame them, either.

Mark Consuelos’s Son Michael Consuelos Is His Look Alike

Michael is Mark and Kelly's first kid. He was born on June 2, 1997.

From the get-go, it was obvious Michael took more after his father than his mother, at least looks-wise. He looked incredibly similar to his dad, even during his early days.

His facial features, like his nose, his jawline, and his lips, all resembled Mark. And, as he has grown older, those similarities have only become more apparent.

As Michael started growing a beard and a sense of style, he started looking more like his father than ever. He even inherited his father's hairline and his hair texture — the father-son duo usually wear their hair in a swoopy slick-back.

Now, when either of them posts pictures with the other on their social media, a healthy chunk of the comments are from people calling them "twins" or "look alikes."

However, their uncannily similar appearance is not where the similarities between the two stop. Michael and Mark also have commonalities in what they are interested in and what they do professionally.

Michael, initially, was interested in screenwriting and directing. However, with age and experience grew his interest in acting.

The first roles he auditioned for were like his father's roles — anti-hero types. Now, his Instagram bio reflects what he thinks of his career — "Attempted Director, Occasional Writer, Aspiring Actor."

He has worked on shows like Riverdale and Duck Dodgers and is set to appear on two more in 2022 and 2023 — Let's Get Physical (2022) and Dissocia (2023).

It might take some time before Michael reaches his father's level of experience and ability, but if Mark ever agrees to a biopic about him, he knows exactly who to pick for his younger movie self.

Mark Consuelos’s Wife and Children

Mark and Kelly, as mentioned above, have three kids. Aside from Michael, they have a daughter, Lola Grace Consuelos, and a son, Joaquin Antonio Consuelos, the youngest of the family.

They welcomed Lola on June 16, 1997, and Joaquin on February 24, 2003.

The Consuelos clan is a true Hollywood family. The couple met on the sets of All My Children, a long-running soap opera, in 1995.

The following year, on May 1, 1996, they eloped, and welcomed their kids in relatively quick succession, while also keeping their show business life alive.

As of August 2022, Lola is an aspiring musician. Joaquin is the only one that seems not to follow his parents and siblings' footsteps in show business. Instead, he is into wrestling and plays for the Michigan Wolverines at the University of Michigan.
