Meet ‘The 100’ Star Marie Avgeropoulos’ Boyfriend Alain Moussi

Marie Avgeropoulos celebrated her second anniversary with her boyfriend, Alain Moussi, in July 2021.

Moussi took to Instagram to mark the milestone in their relationship with a picture of the two on what seemed to be a yacht.

While the two have not revealed the story of how they got together, it's believed that Avgeropoulos and Moussi met on the set of Jiu Jitsu.

It's unclear when they started dating, but Avgeropoulos made her relationship with her boyfriend Instagram official on her birthday on June 17, 2020.

The actress posted a picture of herself and Moussi and wrote about him in the captions. "Birthday field hangouts = boyfriend shoutouts @alainmoussi."

A few months earlier, she had uploaded a brief clip of Moussi helping her train for action scenes.

Both Avgeropoulos and Moussi have since expressed their love for one another on Instagram frequently.

Who Is Marie Avgeropoulos's Boyfriend?

Like his girlfriend, Moussi also works in the entertainment industry.

He is a stuntman, actor, and martial artist who worked with Avgeropoulos in the 2020 movie Jiu Jitsu.

He has been active since the mid-2000s, and his IMDb page credits him for stunt work in over 60 movies and tv series.

Aside from just working as a stunt performer/stunt double, he has also worked as a stunt coordinator in multiple productions.

His best-known works are Kickboxer: Retaliation, Kickboxer: Vengeance, Arrow, and Suicide Squad.

Before he began dating Avgeropoulos, Moussi was married to Janie Des Rosiers.

The two tied the knot on April 4, 2012, and welcomed a daughter named Annabelle during their time together.

Not much is known about his relationship with Des Rosiers, and he has never revealed why the two split.

However, in a 2018 interview with Naluda Magazine, Moussi shared his wife was an anesthesiologist and that he was still together with her. 

He frequently takes to Instagram to post about his daughter and, in the aforementioned interview, revealed that much of his life revolved around his daughter.

"Here's a normal day of my life when I'm home. Wake up. Get my daughter ready and drive her to school. Have breakfast. Training session in martial arts or athletic conditions… getting dinner ready. Pick up my daughter. Do the daddy thing."

Marie Avgeropoulos Arrested For Attacking Ex-Boyfriend

TMZ reported in 2018 that Avgeropoulos was arrested in L.A. and booked for felony domestic violence.

The outlet wrote that a man called police on August 5 from inside a car claiming his girlfriend had hit him during a verbal argument.

When police arrived, her then-boyfriend, who called the police, had marks on his body, and Avgeropoulos was taken to jail. She was later released on a $50,000 bond.

A source close to The 100 actress claimed Avgeropoulos was on new meds, and it resulted in "a bad reaction" and led to the eventual scuffle.

She later pleaded not guilty to domestic violence charges, and her ex wanted to drop the charges because she didn't pose a threat.

He also added that she had never been aggressive or violent in the three years they had been together.
