Katie Price Undergoes Horror Cosmetic Surgery — Will This Interfere with Her Marriage Plans?
Actress and model Katie Price felt she "was going to die" following a set of cosmetic surgeries that left her looking like a "monster straight out of a horror movie."
The reality TV star traveled to Turkey with her soon-to-be spouse Carl Woods to undergo this procedure and record it for her show, Katie Price: My Crazy Life.
Turkey is currently on the United Kingdom's red list, with British citizens advised to avoid travel "except in the most extreme of circumstances."
Price justified her travels as essential for her work. She had a full body liposuction, Brazilian butt lift, and liposuction under her chin and lip.
Price: The Last Stand
Speaking on Steph’s Packed Lunch, Price said her body liposuction was part of an effort to get pregnant again and also recapture her youth. She decided to get the fat sucked out after gaining more than 25 pounds in lockdown.
This was a painful but necessary decision for the star given that she is "disabled for life" after falling down a 25-foot wall during a previous trip to Turkey.
In an interview with the Sun, Price also revealed she turned down a recommended blood transfusion, fearing possible covid-19 infection.
She provided an update the following morning, “I’ve woken up with holes and stitches all over my body. I look like I’ve got cat’s whiskers coming out of my nose and eyes. But I just want the old Katie back!”
Despite this horrifying experience, Price is ever grateful for her fiance, Woods, who has proven to be a pillar of support in these testing times. She claimed she has never been happier and was grateful to be in a "loving relationship."
Mrs. Katie Woods?
Price has already been married three times and has five kids from her previous marriages. This, however, is the first time she will assume her spouse's last name.
The model feels confident she has found her partner for life. She explained she is "head over heels" for Woods and that her kids and parents also approve of their union.
In fact, Woods also sought permission from Price's parents before proposing to her in May this year. He described the proposal and how he was fairly certain Price would say yes.
So, he filled the house with ballons and flowers and had a big sign inside that read Mrs. Woods.
Then, outside in the garden, he set up a canopy with candles and flowers and had another sign which read, “Dolly [Wood’s pet name for Katie], will you marry me?"
Although Price expected a proposal, she wasn't sure when it was coming. The soon-to-be husband and wife also revealed that Price's son Junior, 15, sat Woods down for a talk and listed all the pros and cons about his mother before asking if Woods was sure he wants to marry Price. Woods assured him he is.
Apart from this, Woods has already developed a special bond with Price's son Harvey, 18, who will be the best man at the wedding.
A source revealed that Harvey idolises Woods and that all Price's children will play a big role on their mother's wedding. With Harvey the best man, Junior and Jett will be ushers, and Princess and Bunny will be the bridesmaids.
