Inside Jemaine Clement’s Married Life with Wife Miranda Manasiadis
Jemaine Clement and his wife Miranda Manasiadis have been married for over a decade.
The pair's blissful journey started in their college days. They had met at Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand, where Clement used to study film and theatre.
It is safe to say that their relationship progressed after their first encounter, and the duo maintained their long-term relationship.
After dating for years, they finally tied the knot, taking a step further into their relationship.
Clement Married His Wife in 2008
Clement married his long-time college sweetheart at a registry office in Los Angeles in 2008.
According to entertainment website Stuff, the famed actor took a brief break from writing the second season of his show, Flight of the Conchords, to tie the knot with his partner.
The ceremony was pretty private, and only a small group of friends attended the wedding.
Clement's only group member, Bret McKenzie, was among the attendee.
Besides being romantic partners, Clement and his wife are also co-stars. The married duo worked together on Kiwi feature comedy Eagle vs Shark in 2007.

Needless to say, Clement's wife is also from the entertainment industry.
She has starred in a few projects, including Girl vs. Boy, Realiti, and Nude Tuesday.
Having said that, Manasiadis is known more for her theatre works than television projects.
She works with independent and experimental theatre companies and has performed as a lead character in multiple plays at the Circa and Bats theatres.
She even served as a founding member of Wellington's most regarded theatre companies, such as Afterburner Production, Jealous Theatre Company, and Open Book Theatre Company.
Manasiadis has worked as a dramaturg concept designer and designer in her long-lasting career, working between Wellington, New York, and Athens.
Does Jemaine Clement Have Children?
Clement and Manasiadis have been married for 13 long years.
The pair has given birth to one child. They welcomed their only son Sophocles Iraia Manasiadis Clement, affectionately called Sopho, in New York in October 2008.
As per the reports obtained by Stuff magazine, their son was named after their family members.
Sophocles is the name of Manasiadis's Greek grandfather, and Iraia is the name of Clement's grandparents.
Sopho was born when Clement was filming the second season of the hit comedy series Flight of the Conchords.
In an interview with Stuff back in February 2021, the 47-year-old shared that he loved being a father.
He expressed that having a child was the best thing he had ever done. "I love it," he said at the end of the topic.
Keeping their family affairs away from the limelight, Clement, his wife, and their son, now 13 years old, live together in Los Angeles.
They seldom make public appearances together or share their family matters on socials.
