Ed Gamble finally got married to his wife Charlie Jamison on September 8, 2021, after having to push back the nuptials thrice amid the pandemic.

The ceremony was held in the lavish Hedsor House and Park in Buckinghamshire.

The pair exchanged vows in the presence of their friends and family members.

On September 9, 2021, the morning after the big day, Gamble's bride took to Instagram to confirm the nuptials, sharing a beautiful picture from the wedding.

In the photo, the couple looked at each other with love while Jamison clutched onto a bouquet.

The comedian looked dapper in his three-piece blue suit and lilac tie. His wife wore a silver off-shoulder gown that paired a satin bodice with a tulle skirt.

Gamble also updated his followers about his marriage via his Instagram post on September 28.

He posted an Instagram carousel and penned a lengthy caption, expressing gratitude towards everyone who made the big day possible.

"It's obviously been a torrid time for the wedding industry but everyone has been so understanding and wonderful that it would be mad for me to not tell you how brilliant all these people are," he penned in his caption.

Further along, he thanked his groomsmen, dress designer, and event planner.

"And huge, huge thanks to @hedsor who moved heaven and earth to make sure we could go ahead with everything at their amazing venue," he added. 

Ed Gamble on Wedding Postponement

Gamble and Jamison were reportedly trying to get married for the last two years from the actual date of their nuptials.

But due to busy work schedules and the pandemic, they were forced to reschedule the marriage three times.

Speaking with The Express in August 2021, Gamble shared his feelings about postponing the nuptials, admitting he had initially planned to get married in April 2020.

"And it just felt very new and very raw, and that wasn't a nice feeling to have to postpone the wedding then," he said.

He continued to add, "Sensible, we thought, move it to March 2021, it will definitely be over by then. And of course, it wasn't."

The couple even considered changing the date to January 2021 with a smaller ceremony. But the restrictions around the place they lived at the time made their plans inexecutable.

According to the comedian, it was an emotional decision to reschedule his marriage for the first time because everything was planned, and canceling it at the end moment was an annoying process.

Ed Gamble and Charlie Jamison's Relationship

Gamble and his wife first met through mutual friends, who also set them up for a date in 2010. The two eventually started dating each other in 2011.

Over the years, they occasionally appeared in public together, while keeping most of their relationship details under wraps.

After around seven years of dating, the comedian went down on his knees during their holiday in Japan in October 2018 to propose to his future wife.

He reportedly designated a bespoke ring design from one of her friends, who is a jeweler.
