Those who have seen Family Ties may recall the character Alex, who was played by Daniel Boaventura. He is the father of two beautiful girls. He had them with his former wife, Juliana Serbeto.

The names of Boaventura’s daughters are Joana, born in 2003, and Isabela, born in 2009. The family separated in 2011, after 13 years of marriage.

He later married Maria Netto. Like Boaventura, Netto is also an actress. The couple broke apart in 2019, after six years of marriage.

Boaventura is also a world music performer who was born in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. The actor, who was born on May 19, 1970, is currently 51 years old.

He is a complete artist, as he sings, dances and acts. Furthermore, he is arguably one of the biggest heartthrobs the art world has ever had.

How Did Daniel Boaventura and Wife Separate?

Boaventura is an artist who is rarely the subject of controversy.

After divorcing his former wife, the couple put up the property they lived in, for six years, for sale. It was listed for a whopping four million reais.

The rumors of the family separating began after Netto posted a photo of a broken heart while she was at a party.

“He came in with his foot and I came in with my a**,” said Netto in a post on one of her social networks.

It was Boaventura who put the apartment up for sale. He gave the reason that he didn’t want anything to do with his wife anymore.

Daniel Boaventura's Career

The artist's career took off after his triumph in Globo's soap opera in 2000, which was his second appearance on the network (the first being in Hilda Furaço in 1998).

Boaventura went from one project to the next.

Boaventura’s most recent performance as an actor was in the film Hebe: A Estrela do Brasil (2019), in which he played none other than Slvio Santos.

In high school, he was a member of two bands: Hours Vacant and The Touches.

After seeing one of the bands play, theatre director Fernando Guerreiro persuaded him to join his production of Zás Trás.

He is most recognized for his various appearances in musicals on stage in Brazil. In 2009, he debuted as a vocalist with the album Songs 4 U.

Boaventura has published three studio albums and four live DVDs over his career, as well as a compilation album. He toured a total of seven times in his career as a musician.
