He is best known for How the West Was Won, Bring 'Em Back Alive, Babylon 5, Tron, Free Fall, Tron: Legacy, Gods and Generals, and Tron: Uprising. In his 49 years of being in Hollywood, Boxleitner has amassed a whopping $3 million net worth.

Who Is Bruce Boxleitner Married To?

To date, Boxleitner has been married three times. Previously, he was married to Kathryn Holcomb and Mellisa Gilbert. His current spouse is Verena King-Boxleitner. 

Kathryn Holcomb 

According to IMDb, Holcomb was Boxleitner's first wife. They were together for almost a decade, from May 1977 to 1987.  

Holcomb is also an actress who shared the screen with her then-husband on How The West Was Won. She played the role of Laura, his on-screen sister.

The pair share two children - Sam (1980) and Lee (1985). After their divorce in 1987, Holcomb moved on with English actor Ian Ogilvy whereas Boxleitner married another actress, Gilbert. 

Mellisa Gilbert

Boxleitner's longest marriage was to his second wife, Gilbert. The actress is best known for Little House on the Prairie, Sweet Justice, and Batman: The Animated Series. 

Like Holcomb, Gilbert also shared the screen with Boxleitner. She was a guest star on Season 3 of Babylon 5, where she played the role of Anna Sheridan, the actor's on-screen wife. 

They met each other through Holcomb and soon fell in love. But there was trouble in paradise before the pair got married. 

Boxleitner called off their engagement two times before finally getting married on January 1, 1995. The same year, they welcomed their son, Michael.

However, married life was not easy for them, as Gilbert almost cheated on her husband. Gilbert wrote about her emotional infidelity in her memoir, Prairie Tale.

She wrote that in 1997 she was working on a TV movie, Seduction in a Small Town. She went to Calgary, Canada, to shoot the film, where she got close to the lead actor. 

Having a crush on him and being drunk simultaneously was not a good combination for her. As a result, she started having an emotional affair with him.

Boxleitner was not happy with the situation, and the pair almost separated. But fortunately, they went through therapy and stayed together for another 14 years. 

The duo eventually divorced in August 2011, where Gilbert filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. 

Verena King-Boxleitner

After two marriages, Boxleitner found himself a happily ever after in the arms of publicist King-Boxleitner. The pair started dating in January 2013 and have been together ever since. 

They were engaged on December 9, 2015, and got married in a private ceremony on October 5, 2016, in Hawaii. The pair have been with each other through thick and thin. 

They have been together for eight years, however, they do not share any children.
