Ben Stiller and Wife Christine Taylor Brought Closer Thanks to Their Kids
Like many Hollywood stars, Ben Stiller and his wife, Christine Taylor, met at work. The duo connected on the set of Heat Vision and Jack, a 1999 TV pilot that failed to take off.
According to Stiller, it was love at first sight, and he knew immediately his wife was the one. The couple fell in love within eight months, and in 2000 they tied the knot.
They eventually had two kids, a son, and a daughter, and everything seemed to be going great for the couple.
But in 2017, they shocked everyone when they announced their divorce.
In a joint statement to People, they said that the decision to call it quits was made “with tremendous love and respect for each other.”
The couple added they would continue to raise their son and daughter amicably.

And the couple kept true to their words. They were often spotted together, sometimes with their kids, sometimes without.
But two years after announcing their divorce, Closer Weekly reported the two were giving their marriage another shot.
A source told the outlet that Stiller never got over his wife, and neither did he want to move on, even though they were separated.
They added Stiller regretted his decision and blamed himself for not putting enough work into their marriage.
According to the outlet, one of the reasons they were getting back together was probably because co-parenting their children brought them closer.
The source also shared that their children were elated at the news of their parents reuniting.
“Ben’s a great dad and spent as much time as possible with the kids during the separation, who are both thrilled that their parents are back together,” the insider revealed.
Meet Ben Stiller’s Kids
Stiller and Taylor welcomed their daughter, Ella Olivia Stiller, in April 2002.
Ella followed in her family’s footsteps and realized her passion for acting at a really young age.
She appeared in The Legend of Sleepy Hollow while in the fourth grade, and her grandfather, Stiller’s father, thought she was amazing.
During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Stiller opened up about his thoughts on his daughter’s choice to pursue a career in Hollywood.

“I am happy because she loves it, and she’s very passionate about it and she knows what she wants to do,” said the actor.
He added that he would support her in it in any way possible.
Since stepping into the industry, Ella has already built her resume with credits in Hubie Halloween, Fork Knife & Chainsaw, and Escape at Dannemora.
The actor’s son Quinlin Dempsey Stiller is also following in his family’s footsteps.
He was just a toddler when he made small appearances in 2008’s Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa. Quinlin also appeared alongside his father on Night at the Museum in 2014.
In fact, Stiller’s Night at the Museum was the only movie out of all the movies his children have watched.
The father of two added he didn’t want to force them to watch his movies and noted that they might want to one day.
