Bebe Neuwirth Flaunts Husband Chris Calkins’ Photography

Actress Bebe Neuwirth has been married to her second husband, Christopher Calkins, since 2009.

Though the pair have been together for over a decade, little is known about their relationship as they have kept it away from the public eye.

However, Neuwirth and Calkins have made some posts about each other on rare occasions.

Calkins previously posted several pictures of her, which he took for her CD in 2016.

Neuwirth also made a tweet in February 2022, talking about her husband’s photography exhibition titled No Password Needed, which will run from March 9 to March 12.

“And he takes gorgeous photographs,” she wrote in her tweet and attached screenshots of the exhibition’s details.

Who Is Her Husband?

Calkins is a New York-based photographer whose work has been featured in many places.

He got started in photography when he was 12 after his professional photographer father gave him a camera.

Over the course of his life, he has been involved in over 30 jobs, including being a stunt cowboy, a construction worker, a car salesman, a yoga teacher, and a model.

However, the one thing he has always stuck with is his camera. He takes pictures of everything between people, plants, and landscapes.

In his about page for his No Password Needed exhibition, it reads that “his life has been about seeing, and the awareness that lies behind it.”

Aside from photography, Calkins has also been involved in the film industry. He wrote, directed, and produced the 2013 short Jerome’s Bouquet.

He has also been credited for his appearance in Civil War Combat: America’s Bloodiest Battles as an author/historian.

As an author, Calkins has published several blurb books, including White and Black, Tones, One Eye Open, and One Camera, Four Eyes.

Calkins is also one of the co-founders of Spinelli Coffee in San Francisco, as well as the founder of Gotham Roasters.

On top of the two aforementioned coffee companies, he also started Napa Valley’s Destino Wines in 1998. He later sold Destino and is currently the consulting winemaker for the new owners.

Not much is known about Neuwirth and her husband’s relationship. The pair has never revealed how they met or got together.

Neuwirth and Calkins tied the knot on May 4, 2009. Reportedly, she and her husband exchanged vows in front of roughly 80 guests at the Player’s Club in Manhattan’s Gramercy Park.

E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial actor Peter Coyote presided over the Buddhist/Christian ceremony.

Before getting together with Calkins, Neuwirth was married to actor Paul Dorman. She met Dorman for the first time in 1982 after performing a revue at O’Neal’s restaurant in New York City, where he was bartending.

They tied the knot two years later in 1984 but divorced after seven years of marriage in 1991.

While Neuwirth moved on with Calkins, Dorman married Jill Jacobson on February 21, 2001. Since then, Dorman and Jacobson have welcomed three children together.
