Amanda Kloots raised speculations about her new relationship with Bachelor Nation's Michael Allio at the end of 2021. Her post with Allio in December came after she said she was dating again in June 2021.

The fitness guru has now come out and clarified whether she and Allio are really boyfriend and girlfriend.

She also gave her thoughts on why her fans might latch onto her relationship rumors so quickly.

In her December 27, 2021 post with Allio, Kloots talked about her recent (and first) meeting with Allio. She wrapped her arms around him during the dinner and talked about what a great time they had had over the meal.

"Finally met this guy in person after being Instagram friends for a year!!" she wrote in the caption. "Lots of fried food, drinks, great chats and laughs!"

Her visible closeness with him sparked relationship rumors.

But Kloots has denied dating the Bachelor Nation star. She revealed to E! News in February 2022 that they were purely platonic.

She talked about how they wouldn't be posting pictures like that if they were together. She would rather keep the relationship lowkey.

Kloots understood the fans' motivations behind the speculations. Elsewhere during an interview, she said she knew the rumors meant no harm.

"I know it all comes from a good place. It comes from, you know, he has an incredible support system online and fans all over that just want him to succeed in life and find love again," said Kloots.

Further, she thought her fans were wishing the same for her.

She and Allio even found the rumors funny. "We were both laughing at it, but neither of us were upset by it."

In her mind, there was "nothing wrong" with people wanting them to be happy and find love again.

They had first got together for a "parents night out" and bonded immediately. They found comfort and common ground over having lost their spouse.

Amanda Kloots Not Ashamed of Dating after Husband's Death

Kloots lost her husband Nick Cordero to COVID-related complications in July 2020. She focused on getting over the grief and raising her son for a year after her husband's death.

However, in late July 2021, she admitted she was dating again. While talking about her new venture into relationships, she said she found it "crazy."

"I've never actually had to date. I just started dating again and it is so crazy to be dating for the first time at 39 years old," she revealed during one of her appearances on The Talk.

She also found it wonderful meeting new people and going out again.

However, people didn't have the same feelings about her going out and meeting new people, especially because they thought it was "too soon."

And she had a fitting, honest answer for those. After comments saying she moved on "fast" appeared on her posts, she responded strongly.

"How dare you judge anyone especially someone going through this process," she replied to one particular nasty comment. She also promised to respond to people's concerns about the same soon enough.
