Ed Brown, more popularly known as Big Ed, is engaged to his girlfriend, Liz Woods. The former 90 Day Fiance star and his girlfriend were spotted in Santa Barbara, California, where she could be seen with a ring on her fourth finger.

TMZ reported the pair had confirmed to close ones they were getting married and that Ed was introducing Liz as his “beautiful fiancee.” While the two are now looking to take the big step and walk down the aisle, their relationship wasn’t always the best.

In fact, Ed and Liz went through quite a few ups and downs in their relationship and had even split once. 

Big Ed Met Liz Woods On ‘90 Day: The Single Life’

Ed and Liz were featured together on 90 Day: The Single Life. Because of his relationship drama in 90 Day Fiance with Rosemarie Vega, many viewers watched him closely, and he and Liz became a popular pair amongst the audience in no time.

Ed is a former photographer based in San Diego, and Liz is a single mother working as a restaurant manager. The two first met when he visited her restaurant and soon asked her out. Towards the end of the season, Ed asked Liz to move in with him, and she agreed.

After the first season of 90 Day: The Single Life ended, Ed shared that he and Liz were in a rough spot but were trying to make their relationship work when talking to US Weekly.

We’re in a rough spot right now, and we’re kind of working through it. A relationship is hard, and she got out of her last relationship recently. I think she was only single for about two weeks before she and I started dating. So I think for Liz, it was a lot too fast.

The pair later revealed that they had broken up. Liz said Ed had asked her out of his house multiple times and that she had to put up with his rude and abusive behaviors.

Fortunately, the two have reconciled and are back together. However, it’s not clear when the two are planning to take the big step in their relationship.

Big Ed And Rosemarie Vega

Ed rose to popularity in 2020 after appearing in season 4 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. He hadn’t dated for 28 years at the point, and his disastrous pairing with Rose became a fan favorite for the audience.

Many things did not go well in their relationship, and much of it had to do with their chemistry. When they started going out, Ed was 54-year-old while his Filipina partner was only 23.

Their relationship was questioned further when Ed asked Rose to shave her legs during an episode that aired on April 5.

I woke up last Sunday morning, and it wasn’t a good morning because all of the haters came out. I had asked Rose if she would shave her legs, and people were really upset about that.

Ed and Rose eventually split, and she is now an influencer while he continued with the franchise.
