What DC Movies & CW Arrowverse Shows Will Feature On Upcoming DC FanDome Event?
Brace yourselves DC fans! DC FanDome is on the horizon. The unprecedented mega online event will feature exclusive sneak peeks and updates on all the upcoming DC-related content. This will include movies and series announcements and sneak peeks of all of DC Comics, video games, TV shows, and films.
The event is said to start at 10 a.m Pacific Time on Aug 22 and will be a 24-hour live experience.
This is the first-ever exclusive digital event organized by DC. For those of you who are still in the dark, consider this like a world-wide party hosted on DC FanDome website.
This unprecedented virtual gathering will offer DC fans from all seven continents a chance to interact with their favorite DC Super Heroes and Villains. Moreso, talented DC fans and content creators will also feature their creativity and artwork during the event.
The event's most prominent segment "Hall of Heros" will comprise "special programming, panels and content reveals from a wide variety of films, TV series, and games," according to DC Fandome Website.
In my opinion, the large chunk of the programming reveals will no doubt be taken by the CW Arrowverse shows—which make up the biggest section of DC shows on television right now.
The market of this segment of shows was initially paved by the original Arrow series. Gradually, other shows such as The Flash, Constantine, Black Lightning, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, and Batwoman were added into the mix.
Matt Web Mitovich on TVLine reports that some 16 DC shows and "a half dozen of superheroic series" will provide "news, interviews and previews" via the event.
The Flash and New CW Shows 2020 Announcement
Arrowverse shows such as The Flash, Batwoman, Supergirl, Black Lightning, and Legends of Tomorrow have been all confirmed for their respective new seasons.
We can expect to get exclusives and news from the abovementioned shows.
Arrowverse Shows Preview & Likely Participants in DC's FanDome
Arrow, the show that started the whole Arrowverse shows market segment, is finally ending, after a shortened 10-episode eighth season.
But that doesn't mean the Arrowverse will be smaller. In fact, it has been confirmed that two shows will be joining the segment.
In March 2020, Arrowverse showrunner Marc Guggenheim confirmed Green Arrow and the Canaries was still in CW's pipeline of upcoming shows. The series is the direct sequel to Arrow and is centered around Green Arrow's daughter Mia Smoak.
Similarly, Superman & Lois, a spin-off series of Supergirl is be released early 2020.

DC Universe TV Shows & Likely Participants in DC's FanDome
Fans who prefer much darker adult-themed DC stories can expect announcements or sneak peeks of the third season of Harley Quinn.
The American adult-animated television series is the first-ever original animated series put out by DC and it received wide positive reviews on its release. So far, no details about its season 3 has surfaced. That's why we can be sure that the news for the new season will be presented during the DC Fandom event.
Other dark-themed shows of DC that you can expect to provide announcements and sneak-peaks are Watchmen, Doom Patrol, Titans, Stargirl, and Swamp Thing.
While Swamp Thing is canceled and won't be moving to the second season, all the other shows have lived up to their hype. Thus, we can be sure that all these shows to be renewed.
Moreover, it was announced just recently that the second season for Stargirl was coming.
The American superhero teen drama features one of the youngest, happy-go-lucky and lesser-known characters of DC we have seen in a long time. The show also has introduced DC fans to other relatively unknown villains of the Injustice Society of America and has also included some classic heroes such as Dr. Midnite, Starman, Alan Scott, and Dr. Fate.
Although season 1 of Stargirl was mostly centered on the titular character of Courtney Whitmore/Stargirl, you can expect season 2 to delve more into the mythos of the Justice Society of America.
Further, many fans are also hoping for more reference about Dr. Fate and Alan Scott (the original Green Lantern) in the upcoming season.
