Ramón Antonio Gerardo Estévez, known professionally as Martin Sheen, has myriad movies, documentaries, and series under his belt. The veteran actor has also appeared in countless advertisements over the course of his career.

In fact, there are perhaps only a handful of people who can boast about being in as many commercials as him.

His Latest Commercial Is For A Prescription Saving Card

Sheen’s latest commercial is with SingleCare, a company that offers a free prescription savings card to patients. In the ad, Martin and his son Charlie Sheen encourage viewers to use SingleCare to save up to 80% on prescription medication costs.

Previously, he had done a similar commercial with the same company in 2019.

A Long List of Advertisement Gigs 

The 80-year-old actor has been a part of several projects ever since he first stepped into the acting industry. Alongside his enviable filmography, Sheen has appeared in many advertisements

The actor, who rose to fame for playing the character of Timmy Cleary in the Broadway production The Subject Was Roses in 1964, was a part of projects such as a United States Air Force documentary, Pepsi-Cola commercial, Maxwell House Coffee ad, and a Polaroid Cameras commercial back in the 70s and 80s.

In the 1990s, he did voiceovers in a series of television commercials for Toyota Automobiles and appeared in Diamond Rio’s music video called It’s All in Your Head. 

During the 2000s, he did several commercials, including a voiceover for American Express, the Hospice of Dayton commercial, to name a few. 

In 2014, Sheen starred in commercials and provided voiceovers for  Trex Outdoor Living’s wood-alternative deck, railing, furniture, and other products, and a couple of TV ads for Centrum Silver Multivitamins for Seniors. 

A Brief Look At His Achievements 

Sheen has been nominated for ten Emmy Awards, winning one. He has also earned eight nominations at the Golden Globe Awards and even has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The veteran actor’s most celebrated performance was portraying President Josiah Bartlet in the 1999 political drama series The West Wing.

For his performance, he won six out of eight nominations at the Golden Globe Awards, an American Latino Media Arts award, and two Screen Actors Guild awards, among others. 

Besides acting, the celebrated actor is also an author. He has published two books titled Charlie Sheen, Emilio Estevez & Martin Sheen (Star Families) in 1995 and Along the Way: The Journey of a Father and Son in 2012.
