Delivering the weather forecast from 4:30 to 5:00 am, the Good Day Orlando Meteorologist Kristin Giannas is an early riser. Given her job's nature, it's hardly news that she believes in starting the day on a positive note.

Even when she does not appear to anchor the weather and traffic in Good Day Orlando, Kristin likes to spread positivity through her social media, blogs, and YouTube channel.

Kristin Giannas shares Positive Outlook Towards her Job

Giannas started her professional career working as an associate news producer for WCJB TV in August of 2007. Including her time as an intern, she spent a year and a half at the station before moving to WUFT-TV, where she worked as an entertainment anchor and reporter.

Afterward, her career took her to ABC NewsWCJB TV20, and eventually landed her at WKMG-TV, where she worked as a weather woman. She left the station in June of 2015 and joined Fox 35 Orlando in February of 2016.

'Good Day Orlando' Meteorologist Says She is Grateful for her Career

Giannas is grateful for being able to have an optimistic influence on people's lives because of her job. In Fox 35's Good Day Orlando's video 'Get to know Kristin Giannas,' Kristin explains why she loves her job very much for being able to help others.

One of the coolest things about being on Good Day Orlando and working here is I am able to incorporate two things that people really care about when they are getting ready for work. And that’s the weather and the traffic. I am grateful for it everyday that I have an opportunity to be a positive influence in some way on someone’s life.

Kristin Giannas uses Social Media for Good Vibes

Kristin is big into spreading positive vibes and starting days on good notes. Even outside her work on Good Day Orlando, she tries to be a positive influence and has maintained a steady effort in doing so for years.

Her YouTube channel, where she mainly posts tidbits from her daily life and work, has various contents that show the value of her optimistic outlook on life.

Post About Working during the Pandemic

Since 2008, the broadcast journalist has been sharing snippets revealing behind-the-scenes, bloopers, and glimpses of her personal life

On March 31, following the COVID-19 outbreak, she uploaded a video sharing her experience while working from home. Even during such a difficult time, she hailed her team for making home-based broadcasting possible and ended it on a somewhat positive note saying, "We will get through this together."

Life lessons and thoughts for the day are other major parts of her YouTube content. She posts short less-than-two-minute videos every now and then.

In such clips, she has shared quotes from famous authors such as Roald Dahl and has also posted tips and tricks inspired by her own somewhat embarrassing moments.

Kristin does the same on her other social media as well. Back in January of 2019, she shared a picture of a "what I expect" note she had written when she was 8-years-old. The note posessed two wholesome sentences for her and her family to always be together and do lots of fun things.

And according to her Fox35 Orlando bio, Giannas also loves traveling, blogging, and cooking -- all of which Giannas doesn't shy away from sharing with her fans and followers. In fact, she has a whole highlight on Instagram and a blog dedicated to travel stories.
