Juan Pablo Medina, who portrayed a homosexual character Diego Olvera in The House Of Flowers, was suspected to be gay in real life as well. However, this accusation was debunked by Juan himself back in 2018.

Juan, who married the beautiful Jimena Carranza in 2016, outright denied the fans' speculation when questioned by The House Of Flowers co-star Aislinn Derbez.

Aislinn Asked Juan If He Is Gay On Behalf Of His Fans

Aislinn enjoys a huge following on Instagram and after the premiere of The House Of Flowers on Netflix, she has become one of the prominent figures on the social networking platform.

Naturally, she decided to use her 11 million strong Instagram to promote a movie that Juan and herself appeared in five years ago -- Sobre Ella. While on camera, Aislinn took the opportunity to ask Juan a fan-favorite question about his sexuality.

"People are asking if you are gay," she said. To which, the Mexican star replied with a stern, "No." Despite the stunning actress pushing the question, Juan stuck to his answer and insisted that he was in fact straight. The daughter of the entertainment veteran Eugenio Derbez was poking at her co-star for fun, as she probably already knew that he was married back in 2016.

Who Was Juan Pablo Medina's Esposa?

Juan Pablo Medina's esposa was a gorgeous artist named Jimena Carranza. Sadly, their marriage did not last very long. Tiempo reports that Medina used Bumble Date App after his separation with Carranza.

Juan's wedding with the gorgeous Jimena Carranza made headlines back in 2016. The couple tied the knot on April 30, 2016, in a picturesque dusk wedding. The bride walked the aisle in a white dress with a deep V-neckline adorned with laces. With a bouquet of peach and yellow roses in her hands, she accessorized with a colorful flower crown.

The groom, on the other hand, looked dapper in a navy blue suit coupled with a white shirt accented by a grey tie. The ensemble was completed with a pair of classic black leather shoes.

The actor married the gallery owner in a church in Ensenada, Baja California, accompanied by their best friends including Claudia Álvarez, Billy Rovzar, Marimar Vega, Luis Ernesto Franco, and Bárbara Mori.

As if the dusk wedding against the backdrop of the jaw-dropping Ensenada landscape wasn't romantic enough, the Mexican actor sang to his bride while gazing into her eyes before melting into a long kiss in each other's embrace.

Former-Esposa Jimena Carranza Is With Someone Else Now

In an interview with La Cuchara WTV earlier this year, Juan did confess that he was not single at the moment.

Apparently, Jimena has also found love elsewhere—her Instagram profile suggests that she birthed a beautiful baby boy earlier this year with another partner. The new parents have named the adorable child Emilio.

Although Juan's love life did not turn out quite as he expected, The House Of Flowers star is still very much dating women. So, the mystery of his sexuality is finally resolved-- he is as straight as they come.
