'How To Sell Drugs Online (Fast)' Season 2: Everything We Know
How To Sell Drugs Online (Fast) is getting a second season after a year. Netflix dropped the show's trailer, announcing the continuation of the German comedy-drama series.
The first season of the show was pacy. Though it only had six episodes, with each episode being only 32 minutes long, each of the scenes played a vital role in the story.
Recap Of The First Season
Moritz Zimmermann is a high school student who is looking forward to the return of his childhood sweetheart and girlfriend, Lisa Novak from her year away in the U.S. Unfortunately for him, Novak returns as a changed person and he finds himself unable to stay on the same page with her.
After digging around, he learns that she has gotten into Ecstasy, a party drug. Afraid of losing her, he decides to convey to her that he is perfectly fine with her change and decides to gift her the very drug as a welcome back present.
But in the process of buying the drugs, he gets entangled with Buba, the local drug supplier, and ends up owing him money. In a bid to make back the money he spent on the drugs, he decides to sell the ones he has on the darknet with his best friend, Lenny's help.
The business ("MyDrugs") becomes successful overnight but Buba finds out about the operation and wants to get in on the business. After this, one thing leads to another, and Moritz along with Lenny and Dan (Lisa's new love interest) falls deeper into the pit of the drug business.
A New Character
The trailer hints at the mess that Moritz, Lenny, and Dan are gonna get into. And just like in the first season, it looks like things are gonna get crazy, only this time, the scale is much bigger.
The trailer also introduces a new character, Lenny's girlfriend Kira (played by Lena Urzendowsky)—who is a hacker. While she wasn't shown directly in the first season of the show, she did act as a supporting tool to flesh out Lenny's character by adding an element of vulnerability to his otherwise tough shell.
Throughout the first season, Lenny was shown as a smart and pragmatic guy with few flaws. His approach to everything that transpired was cautious. He was never the reason for any trouble that came along the way. But his life changed after he started to confide in Kira about his fears and problems.

Kira's addition in the trailer might be pointing out to her importance in the upcoming plot progression surrounding the "MyDrugs" operations.Â
What To Expect In 'How To Make Drugs Online (Fast)'Â Season 2?
The trailer for the second season shows the international success of "MyDrugs." At first, it reveals the trio's decision to quit the business after earning a million Euros.
But as the trailer progresses forward, the trio is seen continuing the business and not following their plan of getting "out of the international drug trafficking." The trailer, however, doesn't reveal the reason but has a video description that states:Â
Back to business! Moritz (Maximilian Mundt), Lenny (Danilo Kamperidis) and Dan (Damian Hardung) quickly became shooting stars with their online drugs shop MyDrugs - and after making 1 million Euros they decided to call it a day and quit. Kind of. The decision doesn't go well with Moritz’ ego, who just can’t let go and is running out of white lies to tell Lisa (Lena Klenke). On top of that Lenny is constantly dragging his new hacker buddy Kira (Lena Urzendowsky) into their business and they're followed not only by the police, but also by two street-gangsters.
In one part of the trailer, Moritz can also be seen saying, "They will kill us if we get out now." Still, it cannot be guessed at this point if Moritz says so to his friends out of his "ego" to force them to continue the business or because of actual pressure from the drug suppliers. Â
To make the matter worse for the trio, the trio is shown ending up in the hands of Buba's two gangster friends in the 1 minute and 20th second of the clip.
All in all, the trailer looks promising and the continuation of the series will likely be as fun, if not better than the first season.Â
When Is Season 2 Coming Out?
The series will be available on Netflix on July 21.
