Amber Rachdi is an American public figure who came into the limelight after her appearance in the third season of the popular reality TV show My 600-lb Life. But what was so special about Rachdi and her weight loss journey? Well, she lost a whopping 400 lbs (181 kgs)!

Rachdi Is Relishing Her New-Found Life with Her Husband

The My 600-lb Life star is currently enjoying her time with her husband Steve after going through a challenging weight loss journey plus gastric bypass surgery.

Although Rachdi has not shared many details about her husband, she first mentioned getting married on June 8, 2016, through a Twitter post. In the tweet, she posted a picture of her wearing a lovely engagement ring and captioned, “Who is getting hella married? I'm getting hella married.”

The duo leads a happy marital life, which is quite evident in Rachdi’s funny Twitter posts that are mostly based on her funny habits and how her husband reacts to them.

For instance, on January 10, 2020, the TV star shared an incident where instead of telling her husband about her juice box's cute name pun, "Appley Ever After," she had a slip of a tongue and said “appley bappley” instead.

Likewise, on January 26, 2020, she tweeted a post in which she mentioned her husband’s funny yet loving response to her sneezing.

Going by those funny tweets, it sure seems that Rachdi has found her soulmate.

But before her married life with Steve, she was in a relationship with a man named Rowdy. Rachdi and Rowdy started dating way before the TV star decided to lose weight. And, throughout her weight loss journey, Rowdy always stood by her.

Sadly, they mutually decided to separate in 2015. Despite their separation, they are still good friends.

She Has Made Peace with Herself Over Her Weight

Despite losing 400 lbs in just over a year, Rachdi still had a passion for getting fitter and healthier and not be overweighted again.

On May 21, 2018, she shared a picture of herself in the gym. Through the caption, she stated that she has never regretted going to the gym, even though she used to whine at first.

On December 7, 2019, which marked the 5th year following her departure from the My 600-lb Life show, Rachdi shared a mirror-selfie through Instagram and revealed that she knows she will never be thin. Also, she shared that she had "made peace with it."

Furthermore, in a tweet from March 18, 2020, the TV star mentioned that she was focused on working and living her life instead of entirely focusing on losing weight.
