Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez took their vows over the weekend in a very intimate exchange.

Grande's representative confirmed to People on May 17, 2021, that the adorable couple had gotten married in front of a guest list of under 20 people.

The ceremony was held at the Grande's estate in Montecito, California.

According to the outlet, the couple often spent time on the premises, and it was a natural choice for the venue. The room was apparently full of happiness and love. Both the families could not be happier.

TMZ was the first to report that the wedding did not have an actual "ceremony" and that the couple simply said their "I dos" in an informal manner.

It is still unclear whether the couple always wanted an intimate wedding or they scaled down for the sake of the pandemic. Perhaps they even went through with it on impulse?

They Got Engaged Around Christmas

The couple, who started dating in early 2020, got engaged in December. The two spent a lot of time together during the pandemic.

On December 20, 2020, the pop sensation took to her Instagram to share a series of photos announcing her engagement with her real estate agent boyfriend.

The post featured several pictures of Gomez and herself, followed by a close-up of the large diamond solitaire on her left ring finger.

They Went Public May Last Year

Despite outlets reporting that the couple had been together since January 2020, the couple only went public with their relationship in May.

Grande's song 'Stuck With U,' made in collaboration with Justin Bieber, saw Gomez and Grande for the first time in the public eye, dancing together at the end of the song.

The couple had always been somewhat shy of flaunting their picture-perfect relationship on social media, making the rare uploads even more special.

Gomez Likes to Keep Things Hush

The '7 Rings' singer last shared pictures with Gomez on April 3, 2021. The series of vintage-looking snaps framed the songstress with her arms wrapped around her man.

A source with People confirmed that Gomez liked to keep his relationship with Grande private, which explains the scarce social media evidence.

Prior to her relationship with Gomez, the 'Save Your Tears' singer was in a relationship with Pete Davidson. They were even engaged at one point.

However, she broke up with Davidson in October 2018, which was around the time her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller passed away.Â
